Mom and I went to Noodles in Grand Rapids today after the race and the sweet girl behind the counter happened to be the same sweet girl who waited on Michael and me 4 weeks ago yesterday. That day, she made a comment about me being a cute pregnant person (she was obviously delusional), and I thanked her and told her that I was exactly one week late at that point. The next day, I was induced. Today when we walked in, she said to me, "Hey, weren't you in here and you were pregnant and really late? You had your baby!!" So this sweet girl has a fab memory AND I clearly go to Noodles wayyyyy too much. (Can you honestly blame me?) She asked how old he was and it was crazy to say that he'll be a month tomorrow. I am thrilled to be where we are while still trying to enjoy everything every day...except the waking up at 3am and thinking it's party time until 5am...that's not actually so enjoyable. We spent the weekend in Holland with my family, had a surprise visit from Hfab (all the way from Nashville!) at a get-together Friday night, slept the whole night Friday (thanks Mom!!), went to the farmers market, Michael and Eli "watched football" (see above), and saw Uncle Adam and Aunt Ronnie at Uncle Adam's 1/2 Marathon in Grand Rapids today. It was a chilly fall weekend but beautiful with the sun and it felt like vacation to be away from home for awhile. Looking forward to a Florida visitor next weekend! Enjoy the latest pictures!! :)
