I'm not even kidding...I couldn't even remember this web address. Is that a sign that I shouldn't try to be a blogger? Because I really wanted to start a food blog when I'm a stay-at-home mom again. Oh boy. I might have to rethink this.

Since the last post...2 seasons...a trip to Disney...3 holidays...1.5 eye teeth...a new job offered, accepted, and started...tear duct probing surgery for E...18 months old!...Spring Break...and two people who are now beginning the countdown to summer!!

Enjoy the pictures. :)

Fall is here...and almost gone!

Eli will be 14 months old next week! This fall season has been exponentially better than last fall. We have had so much fun with him. I am slightly obsessed with this child. :) Some of our fall memories include Art Prize in Grand Rapids, a day trip to Chicago with Grandma and Uncle Adam, and Halloween (many times). Looking forward to Thanksgiving and our trip to Florida in 5 weeks! Yahoo!

Summer Pictures

Hard to believe summer break is almost over!! While Michael and I agree that we love staying up late and watching as much TV as possible while Elias sleeps for 2 hours at a time (!), we are also in agreement that a schedule might be nice. I am planning activities for the boy and me to keep ourselves busy when school starts and no one can play anymore. Sadly, those weekly activities do not include the Magic Kingdom BUT we will soldier on in Michigan. These pictures were taken last week by Michael's mom, our personal photographer. We had a GORGEOUS night and we are thrilled with the final product!

Spring, Summer, Vegas, 10 months old!

Apparently I've taken a break from blogging...Elias has become much more mobile and I honestly forget about this blog. So if you're reading it, thanks. :) Summer has been great so far, but SO FAST! We had a trip to Disney for Mother's Day. We've undertaken a bathroom remodel, which displaced us for 2 weeks. Luckily, we had a wonderful trip to Vegas to take up a few days. We had Aunt Natalie in town from Florida with her sister and we all stayed in Holland during that time. Eli is now crawling, cruising, babbling incessantly, and mimicking us, among other things. This age is the most fun yet. In a week, I begin teaching summer school 4 mornings a week. I am really looking forward to being in the classroom again, and the school is just up the block. It will be great for me to be out and great for the boys to be together. ESPN is going to get a lot of viewing at our house in the mornings. Looking forward to lots more summertime and a fall that is a bit more enjoyable than the last!
