So, today we reached 40 weeks. And NO, this is not a post about a new baby because he is APPARENTLY happy as a lark in there, showing no interest in joining us. When I was out running errands yesterday and today, I was naturally bombarded with the "So, when's the big day?" I was just thrilled to tell people the answer, and, as you can imagine, even MORE thrilled to mention that there appears to be no indication that he will be here before the new year. I finally told Michael today that there will be NO MORE talk about the baby.
So we'll focus on some other things...like my birthday, which was last week Sunday, and my great birthday cake :) and a wonderful dinner with my family; and Buzz, who, sadly, fills our camera and then computer with all his adorable antics; and Michael's new classroom. He did start school this week and claims to really like it! I know he's doing an awesome job and we are so thankful to have the job and the chance for him to start it this week instead of starting his class with a sub. I did try to take a picture of him on his first day, but he couldn't find the camera...uh huh...and then I tried for the second, third and fourth days...but still no camera. Strangely, Michael found the camera in the hospital suitcase on Friday afternoon... He DID look nice in his new shirts and ties, all of which were coordinated by yours truly. :)
I plan for the next post to be of Baby Vink. But that's the last I'll speak of this baby until then!!!!!!!
